NEMACO™ enclosure series are engineered for worst-case, real-world conditions, not minimum rating requirements.
ServerPro™: Rack-mounted equipment in industrial and infrastructure environments
SubPro™: Submersible protection for flood zones and below-grade installations
RainPro™: Outdoor weather protection without submersion or washdown
WireGuard™: Cable routing and protection across extended runs
Engineering beyond the standard means accounting for how water behaves over time, how pressure builds inside sealed environments, how materials respond to corrosion, exposure to radiant heat, ozone, weather variability, and long-term aging. It means anticipating small failures before they become system-level problems.
Begin with How the Environment Behaves Over Time
Most enclosure designs begin with a rating. That makes sense as a starting point. Ratings provide a common reference point and a quick way to narrow options, but the difference is what happens next.
What determines long-term performance is not just the rating itself, but how conditions develop in the field. Water accumulates, pressure changes, and heat builds inside sealed spaces. Corrosion accelerates with repeated exposure, including extreme conditions such as hurricanes and tornadoes. These are the actual variables that lead to failure. When you evaluate an enclosure based on how those conditions evolve over time, the differences between enclosure types and series become clear. The rating gets you in the right range. Real-world conditions determine what actually holds up.
ServerPro™: For Rack-Mounted Equipment Protection
ServerPro™ enclosures are designed to house structured, rack-mounted equipment in environments where protection and organization are both required.
These enclosures support single and double bay configurations, allowing for flexibility in how network and control equipment is deployed and accessed in the field. Our ServerPro™ systems are engineered to protect sensitive equipment in environments that extend beyond controlled indoor conditions, including industrial, telecom, and infrastructure applications.
Equipment is rack-mounted
Organization and accessibility are critical
Environmental exposure extends beyond controlled indoor conditions

SubPro™: For Submersion and Flood Conditions
SubPro™ enclosures are designed for environments where water exposure is expected, not occasional.
These enclosures are used in underground installations, flood-prone areas, and applications where prolonged submersion is a real risk. Standard outdoor enclosures aren’t built for this level of exposure.
SubPro™ enclosures are fully submersion tested to verify waterproof integrity under sustained conditions, including extended-duration submersion scenarios. Each enclosure is tested at depths up to 15 feet for 24 hours prior to shipment to confirm sealing performance under real-world submersion conditions. Each unit is then assigned a unique serial number for full product traceability after testing is complete. Our testing methods include pressure-based, vacuum-based, and submersion validation techniques using ISO 17025 calibrated digital instrumentation to confirm sealing performance beyond standard rating assumptions.
Equipment may be submerged for extended periods
Installations are below grade or in flood zones
Failure due to water ingress is not acceptable

NEMAPro™: For Washdown and Corrosive Elements
NEMAPro™ enclosures are built for industrial environments where water exposure is frequent and corrosion is a factor.
These are commonly used in food processing, wastewater treatment, coastal installations, and manufacturing environments where equipment is exposed to hose-directed water, chemicals, or saltwater.
Available in materials such as stainless steel, including 304 and 316 options, our NEMAPro ™ enclosures are selected based on the corrosion resistance your application demands. Thermal management is often part of the equation. Depending on heat load and environmental conditions, our configurations may include filtered ventilation systems or integrated air conditioning solutions.
Equipment is exposed to regular washdowns
Corrosion resistance is required
Internal heat must be managed within a sealed enclosure
Explore NEMAPro™ electrical enclosures.
RainPro™: For Outdoor Weather Protection
RainPro™ enclosures provide weather protection for utilities and infrastructure where environmental exposure is present but controlled, without the added demands of washdowns or submersion. Our RainPro™ configurations include options for enhanced corrosion resistance, such as NEMA 3RX environments where exposure extends beyond standard outdoor conditions.
RainPro™ offers a practical level of protection for outdoor applications without overengineering the enclosure.
Use RainPro™ when:
Equipment is installed outdoors
Exposure is limited to weather conditions
Submersion or heavy washdown isn’t expected
Explore RainPro™ outdoor enclosures.
FlexBox™: For Junctions and Terminations
FlexBox™ enclosures are built for junction and pull box applications where connections need to be protected at specific points within a system.
These enclosures house terminations, splices, and smaller components that still require the same level of environmental protection as larger systems. Our FlexBox™ enclosures are available in multiple material options and configurations to maintain consistency with surrounding enclosure systems.
FlexBox™ protection prevents breakdowns at every junction and termination point across the installation.
Creating junction or pull points
Protecting connections in indoor or outdoor environments
Maintaining continuity across enclosure types

WireGuard™: For Cable Routing and Protection
WireGuard™ enclosures are designed to protect and organize wiring across longer runs where exposure and accessibility both matter.
These systems create sealed pathways that protect cables from moisture, dust, and environmental exposure while maintaining structured routing throughout a facility or installation. Our WireGuard™ systems are engineered specifically for multi-conductor routing applications, providing protection across extended cable runs in industrial and infrastructure facilities.
Use WireGuard™ when:
Managing long runs of electrical wiring
Protecting cables in industrial or outdoor environments
Maintaining organized, accessible routing systems

How to Choose Between NEMACO™ Enclosure Series
Use SubPro™ when exposure includes standing water or submersion
Use NEMAPro™ when exposure includes washdowns or corrosive conditions
Use FlexBox™ or WireGuard™ when the focus is on wiring and routing
If your application includes multiple environmental conditions, selecting the correct configuration may require a combination of enclosure strategies.

The NEMACO™ Approach
NEMACO™ designs for how enclosures actually perform over time in the field.
That means evaluating how water behaves under sustained exposure, how pressure builds and changes in sealed environments, how materials respond to corrosion, and how environmental conditions such as radiant heat, ozone, weather variability, and long-term aging impact performance. It also means accounting for extreme conditions, including hurricanes, flooding, and prolonged submersion, where standard assumptions often break down.
Every enclosure is engineered with these factors in mind and verified through pressure-based, vacuum, and submersion testing using ISO 17025 calibrated instrumentation. Each unit is tested, documented, and traceable, ensuring that performance is proven under conditions that reflect how the enclosure will actually be used.
The result is confidence that the enclosure will perform as expected in environments where failure is not an option.
NEMACO™ enclosures are backed by a 5 to 15-year warranty depending on configuration, providing added confidence in long-term performance for applications where environmental exposure and reliability cannot be compromised.
