ENCLOSURE
NEMACO™ features the SubPro™ product line of factory tested 100% submersible waterproof for every enclosure and junction box.
Each individual product offers unique features for every application and levels of waterproof protection and material corrosion protection. The submersible enclosures are designed based on the engineering standard principle of “fit, form and function” for each application.
Air Bubble Test (pre-test)
Air / Pneumatic Test using ISO digital calibrated electrical gages
Vacuum Test using ISO digital calibrated electrical gages
Other types of performance testing water tanks
The SubPro™ enclosure gasket seals are available with proprietary silicone flame resistant V0 rated that is ideal for both below freezing temperatures and extreme fire resistant protection. In other the submersible enclosures are designed for all weather conditions, washdown and complete submersion in hot steamy or icy cold water. The enclosures are available the following options: interior plate, NPT pipe fittings, FF flanges and threaded cable glands. NEMACO™ provides electrical ground studs in all the submersible metal enclosures per UL and NEC requirements.
SubPro™ enclosures are factory tested & exceed all waterproof ratings: IP67, IP68, NEMA 6P
Here are the product series:
Designed primarily for light to medium duty to applications
Low submersion 3 ft to 15 ft water depth submersion
Small enclosures: wall mount tabs & bolt on cover
Large enclosures: door hinges, pull handles, adjustable hinges
Rugged design for medium duty to heavy duty industrial applications
Submersion range from 15 to 150 ft. depth depending on required specifications
Small junction boxes: wall tabs, bolted covers
Wall mount enclosures: wall tabs, pull handles, bolted covers, gasket retainers, adjustable door hinges and lifting pad-eyes, optional adjustable hinges, interior plates.
Large floor mount cabinets: similar features as wall mount enclosures but also available with dual access (front / back) doors and internal compartments with pass-thru sections for electrical wiring.
Designed for lighter duty to medium duty to industrial applications requiring temporary to prolonged submersion of a few days.
Submersion range from 3 ft to 15 ft depth for most applications.
Enclosures are typically installed for indoor industrial dry applications with possible submersion or outdoor for occasional submersion from weather storms.
Small junction boxes: bolted covers
Mid-Size enclosures: wall mount tabs, bolt on covers, adjustable sliding door hinges (with non-conductive performance bearings), stainless steel threaded inserts and lifting pad-eyes.
Large floor mount cabinets: similar features as wall mount enclosures but also available with dual access (front / back) doors and internal compartments with pass-thru sections for electrical wiring.
Zinc and magnesium anodes are available for cathodic corrosion protection (on request).
Electrically non-conductive resin with woven cloth fiberglass material.
Mild chemical resistance for standard polyester resin. Alternate chemical barrier resins are available for more chemical resistance to corrosive and alkali chemicals.
Submersion range from 3 ft to 15 ft depth for most applications.
Designed primarily for lighter duty to medium duty to industrial applications requiring temporary to prolonged submersion of a few days.
Enclosures are installed indoor or outdoor in direct sunlight in industrial environments .
Window option is available in polycarbonate plastic
Mid-size FRP enclosures are available with bolt-on covers and wall tabs
Stainless connector gland plates are available for NPT fittings and cable glands.
Note: NEMACO™ offers ground studs in metal enclosures but not in he FRP fiberglass enclosures. Electricians (installers / end users) must follow the requirements of National Electrical Code.
SubPro™ submersible waterproof enclosures are the top choice for coastal ways, flood-prone areas, and subsea installations where you need either temporary or long-term sealing performance.
