MOBILE CASTER WHEELS ENCLOSURES

Nemaco provides mobile & portable enclosures, with caster wheels for all types of NEMA enclosures cabinets and boxes for electrical equipment. We have added enclosures with roller wheels to our product catalog. Customers can choose the option to add roller (caster) wheels to Nemaco’s floor mount enclosure and cabinet designs with the Type 3R, 4 and 4X ratings. Moreover, customers can replace the floor mount kits with a set of four roller wheels for many enclosures whereby the design is stable. Of course, we can add the roller wheels to the free standing enclosures if a customer wants.

Roller wheel kits include:

Two swivels (locking brakes) casters
Two straight (non-locking) caster wheels

Also, customers can choose to add wide support bars (to the base of the enclosures) to provide more stability to enclosures with roller caster wheels. Sometimes, tall or sideloaded enclosures with a heavy air conditioner (that will tilt an enclosure) should have extended bars for the caster wheels to keep the enclosures stable and level on the floor.

MOBILE BENEFITS & ADVANTAGES

Industrial enclosures that are movable will allow easier cleaning in factory facilities and processing plants. It is much easier to sweep and dust when workers can move cabinets. Of course, most maintenance personnel want to keep electrical equipment clean, dry and dust free. It helps to be able to move equipment and roll the equipment back into place.

Sometimes, engineers and maintenance crews need to move electronic test equipment outside for project testing on automobiles (cars/trucks), watercraft (boats/ships), planes (small craft, helicopters or jets), satellite communication towers and then they want to roll the test equipment back inside for a storage facility.

Of course, it is sensible to keep all power and signal wires bundled and untangled. Note that when you can move the equipment, you can provide more slack for power and signal if the wires are too short. By the way, you can move the equipment, disconnect and reconnect cables easily. No need for a forklift and probably one person can move the equipment enclosure for maintenance.
